well i have noticed that the counter keeps going up so if u are still checking to see if i have written anything then i urge you to read this blog,
i went to the prayer walk at the church for you teens who read this: YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU MISSED! it was an awesome journey that really hit hard... you went through jesus' walk to the cross and through his time on the cross and the empty tomb... I went to the movie and saw the physical aspect of it, now i went through the mental aspect of it...
heres the story i found, i found it on a website called realanswers.com
Then one day, a guy named Robbie walked into the music store and signed up to take lessons from me. No big deal. Dozens of kids wanted me to teach them what I knew. After all, I was a pretty hot drummer! Most of my students looked up to me and wanted to be just like me. Not Robbie. He was different. Though he wanted to play drums, he wasn't as "ga-ga" over my skills as the other guys. He spent more time talking about his best friend than about drums. For some reason, that bugged me. Every week he'd come in with another story about his friend. THe way Robbie described him made me think he was a little weird. I mean, he was with this friend all the time. He'd say stuff like "I can talk to my best friend about anything and he always seems to understand." After a while I couldn't help feeling jealous. Even though I had dozens of buddies, I didn't have anyone who was always there for me. I tried to maintain a thick skin and acted like I didn't give a twit about his friend. After all, I was "the big time" drummer who'd made it. Finally, I got sick of Robbie carrying on about his best friend without ever saying his name. "Hey Rob," I said as he was leaving his lesson, "I've listened to you talk about your best friend week after week, but you never told me his name. What is it?" I wasn't prepared for the answer."Jesus" Robbie replied. I had no idea he ment the Jesus of the Bible. I thought his friend was Hispanic - Jesus Alvarez or Jesus Martinez. "What's Jesus' last name?" I asked. "Christ," he answered. Then he pointed his finger at me and said, "And He can be your best friend too! I was speechless. It was like a ton of bricks just fell from the ceiling, Faith in God? Was that what I was missing?
awesome huh? do you talk about your best friend like this?
